Dini Terms of Service

2.1 Account Creation

• You must create an account to access certain features
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

2.2 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon account deletion:

• All your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• Active subscriptions will be cancelled
• You will no longer have access to saved product scans and health data
• This action is irreversible

3.1 Membership Tiers

Dini offers three membership tiers:

• Free: Basic features with usage limitations
• Essential: Enhanced features with monthly or yearly billing
• Max: Unlimited features with family sharing, available monthly or yearly

3.2 Billing & Renewals

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You will be charged the current subscription price at the time of renewal
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
• All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Refunds are subject to Apple/Google's refund policies

3.3 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store/Play Store
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You will retain access to premium features until the end of the paid period
• No partial refunds for unused time within a billing period

3.4 Family Sharing (Max Tier Only)

• Max tier includes sharing with up to 4 additional family members
• The primary account holder is responsible for all family member activities
• Family members must accept an invitation to join
• Account holder may remove family members at any time

4.2 Information Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy:

• Product information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate
• Ingredient lists and formulations can change without notice
• Recall data is sourced from government databases but may have delays
• Always verify critical information directly with manufacturers
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information

4.3 Allergen & Health Warnings

If you have allergies or dietary restrictions:

• Dini's allergen detection is a helpful tool but not definitive
• Always read product labels and consult allergen information directly
• Cross-contamination warnings may not be detected by our system
• Manufacturers may change ingredients without updating databases
• You are solely responsible for your food safety decisions

5.1 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Scrape, spider, or harvest user data without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Create derivative works or competing services based on Dini
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

5.2 Content You Provide

• You retain ownership of content you upload (receipt images, notes, etc.)
• You grant Dini a license to use your content to provide and improve the Service
• You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit
• We may remove content that violates these Terms

12.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by following the account deletion process in the App settings. Termination will be effective within 30 days.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended period of account inactivity
• Request by law enforcement or government agencies
• Technical or security reasons

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that should reasonably survive termination will remain in effect, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Jurisdiction

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DINI AI Inc regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
